    Well mine did that, (it was intermittent at first) and I started wiggling wires and found a bad connection

    This doesn't show much.
    It's the 1/2 cord of Oak I put in the shed yesterday.

    This is my "helper", Casper.
    Keeps me company while I'm out there, until he heads back to the house when he thinks it's time to go in and gets some water.:thumbs:

    Slight bit of moisture under the bark......as it falls off.:thumbs:

    There's about a cord of Oak behind that stack, then that 1/2, and about 2 more still needing to be moved into the shed.
    Maybe another 1/2.

    Well, as you guys suspected......it was the positive terminal.
    I disconnected both and wiped 'em off, but I took a wire brush to the positive side and cleaned it gooder.
    Put it back together and VROOM, VROOM.:thumbs:
    It's been acting like it did last year before I changed the battery......hesitated at first crank.
    It fired right up and only needed the choke on the first try.
    Happy camper here, and now I can get the wood moved into the shed.:)
    Once I got it running, I went out back and grabbed a load of Maple, then another. The 2nd one will sit in front of the shed until tomorrow.
    Moving this Maple will allow me to stack the cord of Maple I have in a pile back there. Progress.:D

    Yeah Dave, I leave 'em on.
    It's just easier, and doesn't seem to be a problem.
    I drive pretty slow, but they slap on on the underside of the fenders a bit.
    I should take a look.

    Went out last evening after the sun went behind the trees, and put almost 1/2 of that load into the shed before the skeeters dang near carried me off.
    Finished it this morning and did more until that row was full of Maple.
    Time for the Pine/Spruce to go in now.
    Partial load of the softwood....there's a little Poplar in there too that I forgot was in that stack.
    Time for a sammich, then I'm going to try getting all the softwood in the shed today.
    I might go back and start stacking the split Maple so it doesn't get too moldy.
    Skeeters are extremely bad. Only picked one tick off Casper so far today. Might be that the deer poo he rolled in this morning is keeping 'em away.:rofl: :lol:
