Moving firewood ‘26/‘27

How do you like that 2 wheel firewood hauler? I'm thinking of getting one, you know what brand it is?

 

It's my main wood mover. I've had it for several years. I got it locally from Craigslist.

Being that it's 2nd hand, I don't know what brand it is. There's no labels.

If something were to happen to it, I'd be sure to replace it.

 

I wondered the same thing about a spider. No visible scratches or wounds that would explain it. Antibiotic seem to be working for you?

 

I do wonder if it was a spider cause there was no visible injury or recollection of an injury. Definitely a first for me

 

That must have been disturbing to see! My finger just swole up super tight and part of my palm turned red. It feeling tons better now. How long was it getting over your bite?

Yes, I noticed a next day difference. The redness and swelling started at my wrist and moved 3/4 the way to my elbow before I got amoxicillin. It’s gone a week later and mostly pain free. A week ago my L hand was close to being useless.
I had been bitten by a tic on my left elbow a couple weeks before the trouble started with my wrist. That doesn’t explain the foreign object theory, but I’m not paying for an MRI to find out it’s a piece of glass left from a car accident in 89.

 

Same...40s was fine, but 50s has been a wake up call!
I think back to the guy I worked with when I first got my current job...I was 35 and he was 60...he could still run with the big dogs!

I think it's the same thing as Mike's. I hope I'm not butting in, but since he couldn't ID his I thought I'd offer. I had to replace the cheap Chinese tires on mine that would never hold air, and you have to keep the bolts tight to keep it from getting rickety, but otherwise it's pretty handy. I use a wheelbarrow to carry the day's wood to the house porch, but I use this cart to keep wood stocked in my workshop, where I burn much less firewood. It's handy that it's narrow enough to wheel right through the walk-in door.

 

Can’t blame you there, especially if you’ve noticed such improvement. These infections sound pretty commonplace amongst commercial fishermen, but I have to interest in them being commonplace for me. Tried it once now, and I’m good

 

Yup - bolts have loosened and tires have been replaced.

 

Im not old, just experienced!

 

Loctite is your friend on Chinese carts...

I limped around for a couple weeks, and it slowly got better. I got lucky, those Brown recluse bites are not something to take lightly. I'm glad I went to the hospital and got treated. If I would have ignored it, would have kept getting worse.

 

That first picture is similar to what my leg looked like. damm this brings back bad memories. 23 years ago, and I still remember it.

 

I don't know what is going on, but I didn't type that reply like that. I even went back twice and tried to edit it. When I click edit it appears like this. The way I wrote it the first time! I know how to spell damm. Is that word not allowed?

 

Looks like I have to stop using that word.

There are quite a few words they get changed automatically...pretty standard on many forums
