I don’t come across many dead Japanese Maples. This one may turn into some sticks since it’s not the ideal time of year for transplanting. Not sure the telehandler method is recommended for success either. It was planted in a low visibility spot, since my confidence in survival was low. No signs of wilt or scorch yet, so it might make it. Time will tell and some rain would help. I’ll try to get a pic of its new home tomorrow.
