    Wish I could help you.

It has been unbelievably wet here and there is no "bonus" wood scrounging for me this fall. Just one small truck load.

Try to keep your head away from that wedge......

Like to thank all for their well wishes. It makes one feel good but to be able to get out cutting wood again also makes one feel good. My woodsplitter was made in Fruitvale in the early 80s. Have you ever seen another one up your way?

After the 2 hour ferry ride, you would have another 4 hours driving. You would be welcome when you arrive.

For sure you have to be careful when taking those things as the blood will definitely be thin! That is why they want you off them before any surgery too.

Allan, it is great news when you are able to be back out in the woods. Congratulations to both of you.

Remember your head isn't as hard as the wedge, of course Woodwidow might disagree. Glad to see you back on the wood pile. Take care of yourself. There is only one of ya...

Good for you campinspecter. It is a great feeling to get back to a little exercise after being out of commission awhile.

Glad to hear you’re back at it and recovering well:thumbs:
I recall my grandfather smashing his hand after a quad bypass and telling my grandmother it was “just a scratch”

I knew that it was a cut so I made a compression bandage out of a clean rage and forced it and my hat down on top of the cut and the bleeding stopped. So I was good to go to finish the load!

    Wow! Great work!

I feel making some sort of accomplishment helps with recovery. Especially when it’s tangible.
