    Depends on the type of mouse. We had a little field mouse get inside. I put the trap with cheese on it, nothing...it ran right on by, put PB on it...ran right on by, tried for a week to catch the bigger. It was going in and out of the house. This trap had a bait well on it, I saw where the mouse had left a few acorn hulls under the TV stand...:sherlock::sherlock:...
    I went outside, found a small water oak acorn, cut it in half, wedged it in the bait well...next day...dead mousie...
    The big pack rat that got under the tub/ house finally ate a good dose of bait blocks I put under there. Found him under the floor when we remodeled the bathroom.
    Now we have 4 outside cats, haven't seen any mice lately and they are working on the chipmunk population too...

    Bahahahaha! That would be funny tight there. But I echo the statements of PA mountain man.

    T.Jeff Veal, that's good to know about the acorns. We've had the same issue with peanut butter and cheese, even a peanut butter nab on one of the sticky traps....
