Post pics of the most unique trees you've seen. Here's a five way Oak in my woods. The base is well over 5' across.
I had posted his last year. Tree was one town over from where i live. Never saw it in person. Here's the thread. Door Tree vandalized.
This one is on my place. I was cutting along when I noticed the impossible limb. Here's another view.
Some we have seen on our travels... Big maple in Boone, NC This oak is in our friend's yard I think this is a live oak. Little restaurant is built beside it, front deck is around it. It is in Brunswick GA. A few trees on Driftwood Beach, Jekyll. Island, GA Large live oak on Jekyll Island
This is in a area behind our house, I just found it last year. I don't know how I missed it all these years
The last one is the angel oak in Charleston SC. It’s worth the trip to see it and Charleston is pretty cool too. Savannah is another good destination for Live Oaks and historical stuff.
So I do have actual pics of the angle oak tree but not on my phone(this one is an internet pic). It was majestic! Definitely worth the drive to see it if you are anywhere close.
I may have seen that very tree when I lived in Brunswick. It wasn't on St Simons Island was it? Course that was so long ago that it was probably just a seedling then!
Not real unique, but right along my property line, which is a stone wall. I think the rock fell again the tree, and the tree is growing over/around the rock.
I've seen this one in person. Banyan tree in Maui in downtown Lahaina. It was planted there in 1873 and it covers 2/3 of an acre. It's 1 tree with many major trunks.
I thought St. Simons Island myself. I visited St. Simons, Sea Island and Brunswick years ago with a couple friends. Glynn county Georgia is one beautiful place to be.
Here's the largest tree in the small state of Connecticut. Beautiful old Sycamore close to a riverbank that's all lit up at night. Pinchot Sycamore - Wikipedia
