    And this is what a $500 mistake in the woods looks like, $300 for the part and $200+ to replace the hydraulic/transmission oil. One of the risks of taking an unarmored field tractor into the woods. I got distracted an ran over a boulder that clipped the housing of my mid-PTO. Thankfully, the seal is still good so it didn't drop the whole 10 gal of UDT right then and there, just busted the housing where the bolt holds onto the frame. Since it's not leaking and I never use the mid-PTO, at least I have the luxury of doing the repair at my leisure.
