Is there a market for "chopped" and lowered dump trucks? ;)

With hydraulics so you can make it bounce up and down at the stoplight.

Not real impressive, but why not take the tree to the brush pile and limb it there? Oh should I say three trees?

Putting some cants away for the winter. Better letting it sit with the bark off. 20201025_142143.jpg
It won't be long before it's snow plowing time and "tidying up" before it's buried is an annual event.

For reference the rear tires are 32" tall. These pics are from 6 years ago.

How do you like the CaseIH DX33? Is it big enough to pick up an 8' log 24" diameter? Crazy me I am looking at my next purchase, and trying to decide what to start saving for. Either a dump trailer or a small tractor like the DX33. On their site, I don't see the DX33. Calculating out my worst log at 8' long 24" in diameter on both ends the log comes in at 1680 lbs. ds

Oh, this would not be purchase until next summer time at a minimum.

Mine is a 2002 and now has 470 hours on it. I put on 70 hours since last year at this time. Runs great and handles my air blast sprayer for the orchard well.

A log the size you are talking could not be picked up.

I found a log weight website based on the type of tree, diameter at the narrow end, and then fat end. It calculates out an estimated weight. The weight of that log comes in just under 1700 lbs. I'll have to keep processing them on the ground for now, and put a tractor on my wish list. A 6' X 10' dump trailer and or a quad was next on my list. My cousin has given me permission to cut on his 20 acres.

Guess I don't have much for pictures since bringing it home. Kind of a joke compared to most of you.

Looks like you found yourself a solid little tractor! Enjoy!
