On the other hand, one could argue that the smaller engine on a given chassis is more robust and less likely to break parts and wear out. The air filter will flow a bit easier, the muffler will be a bit less hot, the engine will be better cooled, the anti-vibe springs will hold up longer, the tanks are relatively bigger... But I fall on the side you're on - holding a saw is work enough and doing a few more repairs and tank fills is worth the better power/weight.
