It was eye opening. Basically you have to avoid any electronic forms of communication and get away from any city. Even then they were getting caught.

I'll admit I didn't read the 3 pages of this thread. I think it is funny people are getting upset over Community Gardens that have specific requirements to join. They are not going after the backyard garden. They are not "going after" any garden at all. They are not telling people how to garden (unless you choose to join the program).

Jeeze Louise, people just look for things to misinterpret, start leaping to conclusions, and be all hett up about. There is already plenty stuff that is actually going on to be worried about.

I said I wasn't going to read the link but my curiosity got the best of me. I agree that's its much about nothing and there are definitely other, real concerns in today's world. That said, I stand by my original statement. If this were ever to become mandatory I will not comply.

The amount of angst in regards to 'politics' is directly corelated with failures of government.

But it is not only for firewood as you well know, but leave politics and government out of discussions, please.

It's just that the whole idea is absurd!

Why does anyone feel the need to "register" a garden? Those in charge or the gardeners? :headbang::headbang:

I feel honored that some people would take time out of their busy lives to make sure I stay on their perceived "straight and narrow" path of conduct. A BIG thankyou to them for sure. Don't know how we would get by without them.:thumbs::thumbs::yes::yes::yes:

There's a whole (and rather popular) section of the forum titled "Everything Else" and even "Fireside chat"
Why do you insist on perusing this section if you don't like it. Makes no sense.

Exactly what I thought when I read the first post.
Far from "triggered" and definitely not thin skinned or "worked up" here, even though that was the intent of the thread.

Agreed. I found the use of the word “triggered” to be ironic and inflammatory.
