    We were gifted with a moose roast and it has been a looooong time since I cooked any vension. I was thinking of slow cooker with a BBQ sauce. Any ideas?

    I've done lots of venison roasts in a slow cooker, I always use a liner cause I'm lazy and hate cleanup. It's hard to go wrong with a venison roast in a slow cooker.:stirpot::beerbbq::cheers:

    I did the roast in the slow cooker using a cranberry chili sauce BBQ mix. It came out quite good.

    My slow cooker has a liner so I can take the whole thing out to clean it in the sink.
