It sounds like a log truck with grapple arm, AKA a tri-axle. They run 6-8 cords, depending on how they are loaded. Tree service wood of different lengths and diameters will yield less than an evenly stacked load wood purposely cut for loading and delivery. If it is a 40' semi trailer the load should run about 20 cords. A tri-axle with pup trailer will yield 10 cords or so.

7 cord (full cords) is a reasonable/typical load on a straight grapple truck. Not much firewood in this area moves on a semi. Got your camera ready?

{edit: P.B. beat me to posting!)

I'll be cutting more box elder and maybe a big basswood or 2 that's blocking the red oak, sugar maple and shagbark from growing faster for shoulder wood. I've burned about a face cord of basswood that my buddy dropped off at my house this fall. I liked it, it burned nicely, and now that I've got an insert, it might last a little longer. The best part is that those lower btu woods won't cook you out of the the house in shoulder season.

If you get another load, $500 for 7 cords of oak is a great deal. You'll just need the time to let it season.

My cutting buddy cut a big red oak that was felled by the power company last spring. It was in the low 30s moisture content when split. It sat all summer, stacked. He tried burning some in his fp and said it was pizzin' all over. I told him it would. So he listened and is burning more of his box elder and cherry this year, and letting the oak go another season. There's some shagbark hickory that I cut and split late last winter that was dripping. It was under 20% mc this fall.

Yup it did! Glad to hear a majority of it was actually oak. Had it dropped at my buddies place so no pics as I wasn't there. I will get a few pics when we start cutting on it after the first of the year.
