SmokeyTheBear and Loon I have lived here since 2004 police have been here 1 time I know of.. The Puerto Rican incident is infamous in town.. 3 “youths”, were on my driveway. Came up to house after I asked them to leave. 2 dogs over 250# together convinced them to call 911.

Chaz you forgot the best one NYC the epicenter of the pandemic, which is very slowly opening some retail stores. Allowed over 50,000 people to gather on the Brooklyn Bridge to have a memorial service/protest.

 

That is some of the smarts you see for NYC. A lot of New Yorks don't recognize NYC as part our state and say it is actually their own state.

 

I agree Chazsbetterhalf Burlington VT largest city is not really a place to find Vermonters!! Talk to anyone in NH and there is major population base vs rest of state there too!

and most everyone that I know in that state wish NYC was its own state with Syracuse as a suburb. As the talking heads in Syracuse just rubber stamp anything from NYC.

County covers this town too, was being run by the town for years but turned back over to county last winter. Population 2000.

 

Well , I put up my problem with my sump pump here so , I will do a follow up.
The new sump pump was only working part of the time, after taking everything apart , I find the check valve fell apart and part of it stuck up in the pipe 4 feet off the floor, causing a blockage only part of the time, I assume that's what burned out the original pump.
New check valve in a different place, some pipe modification and all is well.
Just in time, somewhere between an inch and a half and 2 and a half inches of rain coming tomorrow.

I should probably start up a protest of the manufacture of that check valve or maybe sue them in court but I'm not a crybaby

 

Funny you mention that, right when everything started in Minneapolis my daughter said "what a bunch of crazy people" and I said "you got that right and there's gonna be thousands more of them showing up all over pretty soon , you watch and see " I would have been happy if I was wrong
