My cat knew to hunt rabbits in the garden. I found numerous headless rabbits. Never found the heads though. Anything smaller she ate completely.

The one we had that went outside, used to hunt like that. Never had ground hogs while he was here. No more outdoor cats. Vermin are a problem again.

Ya know, a good trapper/hunter is ethically responsible to found his wounded prey......

2 more this morning. One of them was probably the one I winged. Makes 8 total so far. Just set more traps.

I hate meices to pieces. Nasty little vermin. Not fond of rats either. Thankfully never had a rat in the house.

We have a barn cat my in laws found as a kitten, she is a great hunter. Not only the mice show up dead on the walk, but snakes and birds also. She also keeps the squirrels on their toes and stalks the possum and raccoon in our yard.

I use the victor traps with the big yellow plastic tab on them for the bait holder. I put a dab of PB on it and good to go. I have also taken to nailing my traps to a larger chunk of wood so the ones that get winged can't drag the trap around. I lost a trap in the barn one winter and we found it outside in my wife's flower garden the following spring!
