also gave my thumb a "Big Arse Kiss" with a serrated head claw hammer one time. Never said a word, just climbed down the ladder and calmly walked over to the ice chest and submerged it in the ice water, then watched it develop it's own "heart beat".... :nerd:

I may have or may not have picked up a hot soldering iron by the hot end at some time in the past.

Same from a reciprocating saw this past summer that jumped and landed on my knuckle while still running. Of course it was a limbing blade with aggressive teeth. Put the saw down, went inside and put hand under ice water. After making sure everything was still ok and nothing important was cut. Neosporin, bandaged and back out to finish while thinking-hope it didnt hit a tendon-it didnt :)

when hanging 2 by 10 sistered joists 8 feet in air.. we were nailing to hold them then bolting in place.. buddy bounced a 3 inch nail thru my left wrist and it went into beam behind it... waited patiently for him to climb down and get a wrecking bar.. to release me.. so there I was standing on a milk crate nailed to a cross beam... we didn't take pics some how missed everything. ... gave new understanding of Jesus being nailed to a cross though

I wonder how many parts of the body we will admit drilling into. Me first - my thigh, and through my pointer finger nail. I had to turn the bit backwards to get that one out.

I have wound my shirt into power tools without injury a few times.

Sometimes these things happen to me because I have a tendency to think that rules apply to other people, rather than me. I know the right way to do things, and then do it another way.

Hitting the same nail with a hammer twice in a 10 minute period was a special character-building experience as well.
