    I'm in Chardon this weekend. Good friend of mine lives here and I strategically made plans for a visit during the maple festival to see some lumberjack action. Should be up there tomorrow morning to check it out.

    Dang Nate you and Brent and Jason had some smoking runs side by side. :dex:

    Jodys finals run on 3ci was so tight and clean looking to. So was Curt 2nd in the 3ci. His run looked pretty fast too.



    Only sad thing I noticed in videos was down to 6-8 competitors per saw class. Top 6 go to finals Sun. Gone are the days of mid teens to 20 something per class I guess.

    Maybe they need to advertise better also. I live 45 minutes away in Cleveland and have never heard of it til coming on the forum here.

    Anyone can race it seems now.
    Yes it used to be invite only. Also been a few I gave my invite after 2010 that have went on it.
    You can vouch for any good folks to race too. Heck guy showed up from Idaho and we all vouched for him that knew him.

    so there are only 6 -8 total competitors now and top 6 go on to semifinals out use to have 20 racers total or 20 racers in semifinals and now down to 6?

    Used to be over 20 racers Sat racing for 6 spots on Sun. :whistle:

    Now you have 6-8 racers Sat going for 6 spots on Sun. Thought that was pretty simple, but guess not.
