Ok everyone here is a poll for the gtg Scotty and I are planning to have. We need a head count to prepare for. If you have a ez up type canopy they might be a good idea in case of rain or hot sun. I plan on having this in a field that had corn in last year so dress accordingly. Camping is ok no hookups for electric or sewer though portajohns will be available. We figure Saturday will be the main day for activities with food and campfire. Everyone is welcome and welcome to bring food and refreshments please no alcohol we plan on kids being there. Any questions or ideas fill free to comment here.
May have one guest. Hoping to see who wants to carpool/convoy.... Mastermind, mdavlee, Driver, LogJam, WVhunter, WV Mountaineer, foragefarmer, my dad? Will be a great time in PA!
Or if you've come to the point then that you've got a full load, we could at least meet at exit 70 and convoy.... If you're able to go.... Hope you can do it, no matter what the arrangements!
I'll half "like" that. Come on Mrs.Muffinhead you'll have a great time, and bobbieAaron dude can tag along too!
If you don't mind chopped liver I might be interested in a carpool? Still trying to hash out the Michigan gtg, but central PA is a skip from here.
Haven't forgot about you. Just hadn't seen you for a bit.... You'll be along the way up 81, and included. Can't leave no willing VA members behind, man!
I know, I just have to give a good ribbin when due. Thinking I might be in for a caravan. I have to google the location still but wondering if there will be any cool stores/shops in the area or on the way home. I like to stop and shop while out of town and don't want to hold anyone up. A caravan is always a plus, even with only 2 it makes car failures/etc. much easier to deal with.
Pretty much most non-retail type stores. Thrift, antique, army-navy, almost any cool gun store, etc. Baseball card shops.. Retro clothing shops. As for retail most large farm/tractor stores, tool dealers, man stuff.. or any other type store that has something that I can absolutely not live without
Don't know anything about clothes or baseball cards but the manly stuff we got covered and lots of antiques this area was built on railroad/locomotive shops there are many malls and restaurants outside of town you'll find farm country plenty of guns shops.
http://www.yellowpages.com/duncansville-pa/antique-stores Ive never heard of #18 but its only minutes from the g2g Duncansville is about 15-20 minutes and has a lot of antiques and flea markets
I'll know more when it gets closer. My work changes all the time so it's hard to say what I'll be working then.
Didn't get a notification on this for some reason. Anyway I would be interested in a carpool/convoy. Eric VW count me in.
