Finished the 4th cord, put down pallets for the next row and started stacking the 5th.

Hmmm. Sounds too good to be true.

Split two more of the big red oak rounds this morning with the isocore. There are some days I wish my boy was old enough to be working with me to get all this wood CSS but they are only little once. Need to find a reliable teenager in the area that’s not afraid of a little physical labor.

I know BUT I’m 99% non reactive played football in field of it as a kid I never got it. When I see it I pull out and dump vinegar on ground. My family friends call me to come pull it.

    Gramps Dad me all same..

Check with your local boy scouts at the nearest school to you. Should be able to get the name of the troop leader through local office.

I wasn’t reactive in high but my dad has been as long as I can remember. Seems I started after I weed whacked a ditch at church and got all cut up with briars. If it was as easy as drinking raw milk I’d be all over that but that’s a high cost experiment to be wrong.

I was just talking to a co-worker who is 62. She's been drinking raw cow, goat, and sheep milk her entire life, and she still gets poison ivy. Actually has some right now. I think not catching it has more to do with your genetic makeup than what you consume.

Great grandfather had dairy farm, cows ate poison ivy.. they developed immunity I don’t get it but a few of my cousins are highly allergic not sure what other factors or ages of consumption are involved. Certainly not a geneticist or allergist BUT I never had it and I put calamine lotion on people that do without gloves

How will you get to the seasoned wood easily with the green wood stacked in front of it ?

Back view. Over time I plan to remove enough dirt I can back a atv wagon or drive a tractor up to it.

Well we had quite the storm tropical storm and just got power back over the weekend after being out since Tuesday. I went riding around looking for a scrounge that didn’t have wires in it and struck out 6 for 7. Walked away from #7 due to a hidden widow maker. Here’s a couple photos from driving around

Well for post 500 on my Wood Adventures thread, it’s only fitting for something big, right? Well back on the first page of this thing I talked of a someday plan to get a tractor...and 4 years later here we are.

Say hello to my new wood working buddy, a Kioti CK2610. Starting with forks, bucket and grapple. I found a great deal on a “used” one with 46 hours
