    Boy is it ever...now just to get the seasoned stuff u set cover and the fresh stuff split and stacked! I’m so far behind I could host a GTG! Big trees, little trees, splitting and more!

    If you ever want a hand making firewood for a day id be glad to come up and help you out. Ive met three other CT FHC members, two ive cut with.
    Self employed so i can easily schmooze the boss for the day off!

    Got the last of the seasoned stuff loaded in. 3 cords on the nose. 1 maple, 2 red oak. Lots of bucking and splitting to do now.

    About 10 good sized ash trees that need CSS. And about 3+cords of rounds need SS.[​IMG]

    Slow going with many house projects but was able to fix a leak on the hydraulic splitter and get ½ cord split and stacked. Backing the truck up worked really well with the woodshed!

    No pics but cranked out another cord split and loaded and delivered. And adult couple bought it for a Father’s Day present for one of their dads. My wife asked how’d I’d feel if she bought me a cord of firewood. Haha

    And no, I wouldn’t want more wood. I’d want why’s laying around to be C/S/S but if I had to, it’s be oak. Straight splits and high btus

    Nice Ash load. I'm a firm believer that we CT hoarders need to grab the dead Ash while we can. The further west you go, the older the borer infestation, and the less viable the dead Ash trees are as firewood.
