Ok, check in on that purchase made almost 8 years ago: Still quite happy with my purchase. Mattress is holding up quite well; it hasn't gotten soft or saggy in any spot. Still as comfortable as ever. I upgraded with a heated mattress pad, much appreciated on cooler nights. I give it a

We bought a purple when they first came out about 8 years ago. Still love it. A friend bought a brand new coil spring for the guest room and it was slept on twice. He gave it to us last week and we tried it out. Could not get comfy, so my brother took it. We love our purple and will likely buy another, or at least something comparable, when the time comes.

+1 for another satisfied long-term Purple owner here. The one I sleep on is at least 7 years old. Wife's is getting on 6 years now, and two kids have had theirs a couple years now.

I'm liking the good purple reviews, as I bought one over the summer. I'm not sure on the model but it was more than I've ever spent on a mattress ($2000+). It's great so far and if it hold up long term I'll be happy.

Ours are the original, plain-jane variety. If I were to replace them, I might branch into some of their "fancier" stuff, but for what they cost (vs other "premium" options) I think they deliver on value for sure. I wasn't too keen on the price of others like the Sleep Number or Tempur-Pedic.

My wife's son and DIL recently bought a Sleep Number Bed...Cost something ridiculous like 12 - 15K....My wife's car isn't worth that much.

We got our purple when they were doing the kickstarter. We thought 900 was a lot for a bed.

It's not even the weight that's that bad, as it can be managed. But once you let it escape the original packaging.... it's impossibly awkward to move as it becomes a multi-hundred pound Jello casserole without the dish. It think if we were ever to move, I'd try to build a giant "space bag" for each one and duplicate the original package.

Don't know much about it, I know it has heat, probably cool, apparently night lights come on when you get out of bead, unlimited adjustability...Stupid to pay anywhere near what they paid, but it is not my money. Looked it up online, looks like you can get 50% off now.
