Our master bath tub is orange!! The honey doo list is long! Hey she just got a new well pump, pressure tank etc so we have water in house!! first job is finishing open projects; including windows, doors, flashing, screens it’s a long list! Every time save $$ and time to finish one project, Murphy shows up! So we deal with emergency, you know life happens the guest bathroom is much more presentable
Eric VW nailed it. The door will swing in or out. We are probably going to install a towel hook on the wall by the door. Swing door in, grab towel, dry off. She tried it out today after mowing 5 yards.
Remember at the beginning of this thread, our tub was orange... Well pumps and water systems aren't cheap either... I put this off for several yrs... Just give her a peak at the thread...
No. We work together when we lost water on my 50th bday it was real clear to me. That was the priority .. just as it was when we lost power or year before when it was septic or driveway or roof was leaking and there are still 2 windows with plywood over them and 3 more windows screwed shut! Those windows are bought paid for and in garage waiting on installation... Now I’m in trouble wife saw me on phone so I showed her... responses Stunning Beautiful Love the wood on wall
Well, pink tub here in the main bathroom 1950's renovation by the p.o. matching pink sink too. Pink toilet change a while ago. This is a bit down on the list. T.Jeff Veal, excellent work that you both will enjoy. Thanks for posting the progress pictures.
I had baby blue almost seafoam green tub, it worked great! My girlfriend has a pink tub and sink- she decorated the bathroom to showcase it and it's awesome!
Next 2 projects that are tied into the bathroom remodel... We built a short wall with 2x4's to close in the area where we had taken the tile out. Got it painted and new moulding put up. We made an access panel for the shower valve, our pastor's wife is going to paint a picture on it and we will put moulding around it that can be taken down, if needed.. We started cleaning out the rest of the master closet. That vinyl flooring is what used to be in the kitchen......glad I like blue...... We are going to put the leftover hickory flooring from the bathroom walls down, if we have enough. If not, we have some tigerwood left from the kitchen remodel several years ago. We are also going to build new shelves around the cabinet back, a new shelf for the back wall to hang clothes, and storage on the other end.
You did a gorgeous job on the bathroom, T.Jeff! Your choice of materials really makes it modern but in a rustic way. Are you going to let the grandkids in there? Looks like you could rinse off a herd of them in that shower! Thanks for the blow-by-blow, I enjoyed it.
