I'm not one to try to tinker with the different angles. As long as its sharp and cuts well, I'm happy. I've always used a 30° top plate and tend to sharpen with a 10° up with the clamp on file guides. That's as fancy as I get so this Husky jig seems to work for me.

13/64 file with the husky guide on 3/8 chain works well. I use them for my big bars when stump cutting or cutting dirty wood, with the guide and after hitting dirt, rot, or steel, it keeps the file high enough that you don't make a huge hook under the top plate without getting the damaged top plate material like it does when trying to touch one up fast in the field by hand. And as stated, when its used on a brand new chain, it seems "high", but it makes it perfect for those rocked out chains.
