    Spray a lil carb cleaner around the intake and carb. If it gets sucked in, it will make idle stumble a bit.

    Use wd40. Won' attack rubber and paint like carb cleaner does.

    So run the saw. Spray wd40 around intake. If any leaks the saw will suck in and stumble or stall. If the intake is sealed then continues to idle with no change.

    What about around the base of cylinder, decomp valve or clutch side seal? Works the same?

    I have a saw that could be dyed black!!
