What species of tree are those ??
The top pic, the bark looks like red cedar.

Cold Trigger Finger, the wood is Stringy bark eucalyptus. It is the most common wood in these parts.

    I measured the line , it's 33"
It is very light weight , I think the half of a crayon weighs more than it does

Looks like it would be very lightweight . I should work good on my suspenders.
I know I keep writing lightweight.
I guess I've just packed Starrett key backs for so many miles that I'm interested in light weight key backs. Tho the Starrett's are super reliable and long lasting And tough !

That would work , pulls out easy too ,because it's not designed to hold a lot of weight .
I mounted one on my drill press , it holds the chuck key

Yeah I know what you’re dealing with. Same here. I have these Apple boxes, fruit bins like you may see in an open produce store and I throw those kind of pieces in but they are full now with splits I can sort. . So I’m constantly dealing with odds and ends. They are “monkey biscuits” and many other names around here. Uglies for short. Either way they do make great wood just hard to stack. Find either an IBC Tote or put a few pallets together and drop them in. Often folks don’t split them if they are small enough, kinda a waste of time but still btu’s and they are great for the beginning of the burn season to keep things rolling a bit and saves the good splits for later. Being here just helps you perhaps perfect a craft a little at a time. Organized stacks make it much easier to claim wood without issues. Woodsheds are on point.

    Reminded me too.

It may be worth the money. Just add it to your saw and your saw becomes completely autonomous. Fells and bucks for you. No operator needed. :D
