    I think your review was spot on. These pellets are tiny, many are pea sized. They are a much darker color that I was expecting. For me, they are nearly identical in smell and appearance to firesides, suspect they have a common softwood fiber. I would also agree with with has been stated by others previously - while a tick better, these perform pretty similar to the MWP Blends.

    They do look small. And as we have talked about before,
    when you use smaller pellets, they seem to put out some decent heat...
    But, the flip side is, they don't last as long...
    I found my La Crete 2 seasons ago, to be smaller than usual. Burned very hot in the Englander,
    but did not last as long as they do now... longer pellets..
    But.. if your stove makes adjustments to maintain a particular heat,
    then it doesn't matter...
