Well as of 930pm we've only seen a touch of rain although areas are seeing strong storms and flooding. There's a mess all around us, but it's continuing to split apart. Maybe later

It rained pretty much all day but it wasn't anything heavy except for two times when it rained pretty hard but not real long.

Today I started cleaning up a new area where we'll pile a bunch of the pine we have and also make some trails for the rhino, tractor and for walking.

Picture 9466 is from the only entrance looking at the dead pine, there was plenty of rotten pine down so that went on the second run to the wood dump and boy, did mother nature dump on me.

Hopefully before the end of this coming week, I have a whole bunch of pine in there.

I have some grading to do on the right side. Once that's done, I'll need to frame the loft and start the sides. I should get it alot done tomorrow. I unloaded all the rough cut lumber yesterday.

    We'll have mid 40s overnight

We had a pine that lost its top a few years ago so I felled it and then split the chit. I moved some limbs with the 4540 so I changed to the bucket and moved some pine to the area I cleared the other day.

The 310 is still giving me problems so I grabbed the 028 WB, it was running nice and throwing some nice chips so I guess I'll use it more often.

Pictures 9483 & 84 are the two fawns we have hanging around, they've been putting on a show running the trails around the house.

    We had 46 this morning.

Thanks T.Jeff Veal , the area I'm working will be a new plow zone for snow this winter. Instead of the snow being near the corner of the driveway, it should end up further in the woods.

When do your temps usually start dropping?

End of September, temps start cooling a bit, still be pretty warm, but not scorching. Frost usually by the end of October

The warm weather has brought out the deer fly again but tonight we might hit 48 for a low, that will feel nice.

We had a visitor today for about four hours and then we made a trip to Massena so nothing was done on the tractor or the saws, I might get some splitting done later tomorrow , we'll have another visitor tomorrow.

We have a 45 and 75 Mahimdras love them both. Watch your temps when running bud. With implements. We relocated the battery box lower and removed air box and replaced with an aftermarket. Our 45 has had the legs run out of it . Only had a few problems but mostly from using it on too heavy of items( front ends are hard to work on) but you will love it! Kuddos and sawdust!

They actually put in a inline restrictor on the line coming out of the radiator to make the tractor run warmer. We use the backhoe for removing stumps, the sander in the winter time along with plowing a bunch of trails and driveway. We had one update a few weeks after getting it (2016) but that was done here with their computer, we have over 830 hours (nothing real hard) but it's been a very good tractor for us.
