The branches from this area are from the pine clearing we did last year, hopefully by the end of July the majority of them are gone to the wood dump.
It's 87 out today but I managed to haul 5 or 6 (CRS) loads of pine branches to our local wood dump, I'll get a picture of what's left later today.
Nice going! This heat certainly makes you work slower. I put in an hour and a half this evening after work. Slow but steady. You expecting storms tomorrow Woody?
Our humidity today was only 35 percent with a dew point around 53 so even though it was 87, it wasn't that bad. We're in for over an inch of rain tomorrow with the possibility of high winds, what about your area?
So far this summer most of the storms have stayed north or south of us, we'll see what goes on with this one.
It looks like we'll be in for hot weather week, after the cold spring I'll take every nice week mother nature gives us.
Some of the storms hit north of us (not by much) they have trees down and a bunch more on power lines. The last I saw, they had 2500 without power. Certain areas north of us have received two inches of rain real quick with another 1-2 coming in, they have a flood warning on.
I saw a big system approaching on radar, and it passed over us, but only drizzled here and there. Storms expected overnight, possibly heavy rain early tomorrow morning.
The lightning seems like it's over us with very heavy rain falling, I'm hoping we don't get any high winds but do expect to get hit with something tonight.
I loaded the trailer with pine branches later yesterday and took it to the wood dump early today but since it's so humid that's it for today.
I didn't have the camera with me but today I pulled some small stumps with the backhoe on the 4540, I also moved a bunch of smaller pine branches from out front to an area near the backhill. Once I'm done cleaning up, this area should be ready for plowing in the winter. This week I'll start stacking two face cord of seasoned maple in the above area.
It sure is Well Seasoned , I was going to pull some stumps early tomorrow with the backhoe but it looks like we'll get close to a inch of rain tomorrow. About the only things that have been getting done are some weed eater work with some stacking.
Very hot tomorrow at 87°F! We'll see that weather later with a more comfortable 78°F on Wednesday. We'll take it!
The storms this summer have missed our area but I see Thursday afternoon and evening we have another chance to get some but hopefully it misses us.
We need the rain since it has been very dry for what seems like a month but we can do without the high winds.
