The first four pictures I was plowing some lanes in the woods so I can move the splitter in so I can split the yellow birch, sugar maple and the pine.

After the plowing was done I put the bucket on to move snow but for some reason I never took a picture of the bucket full. After I was done on our property I went to our neighbors and cleared a way to his wood stacks. When I was getting ready to leave, I saw another neighbor from Massachusetts who lives on the river shoveling a huge bank of snow to the entrance to the house so I pulled down in to move some snow for him. I'm done for the day.

Tomorrow I'll move a trailer down in an area in the woods I plowed out today and then clean out the lower part of the driveway.

I need to set the date stamp on the old camera.

It's time to grease and check the fluids tomorrow and if the temp gets in the 40's this coming week I would like to wash the tractor so I can get some of the salt off.

The antifreeze was good, the engine oil was good, the front right axle level was good, the front left was good but I added some and the transmission fluid was good.

I moved around some trailers so I could move some snow in that area so I'll grease the tractor tomorrow.

I took care of the mess outside before it freezes up tonight. I'm keeping the same trails around or near the house clear so we can get to the stacks, splitting area and driveway.

I decide to clear our neighbor's driveway out too, we ended up having two cups of coffee and shot the chit after I was done 100_0016.JPG .

No but she made some no-bake cookies I've been sampling. She's gone to the store right now.

I decided to grease the tractor this morning before scraping down the driveway again (didn't tale long) and then plowed out another trail that runs to that new trail I worked on that goes to the yellow birch.

The attached picture is from yesterday but you can see the direction the trail runs that I plowed out today.

With the warmer temps and the rain, tomorrow I'll run the tractor over the thin layer of ice on the driveway so I can break it up.

Once the rains stopped I jumped on the 4540 and worked up some slush, three small piles. The gravel is coming up through the ice so there's good traction.

Picture 0020 is the trail I plowed yesterday and 0021 is the trail that goes to the yellow birch I was working on and 0022 I cut back the snow on the left side.

The reason I didn't go down the trail to the yellow birch is after the last wind event we had a bunch of branches down on that trail.

All that snow pushed up on the sides of roads often means when things start melting it can start filling the road with water. Then it will re freeze at the right temps and make ice on the road for you. :picard::rofl:  Always somethin! That's the way our camp road works sometimes anyway. I need to get it crowned better. But hopefully the amount of nights we have freezing temps will be few and far between.

We finally bought this A Frame for the drawbar on the back of the 4540, this will stabilize it so it won't swivel, I'll be putting it on later this afternoon. Stabilizer.JPG

I just slapped it on and then went back to an area that I stopped working once the heavier snow came that I'll try pulling off some dead pines with the tractor once I'm done limbing them up 100_0057.JPG .

There are two dead pine on top of this small hill that I'll be limbing up and then hopefully we'll use the sand for fill.

This is that same area I was getting the damaged yellow birch. 100_0059.JPG

I dragged the pine off the sand pile that we'll be using, it was nice having some power. After it came off the hill, I dragged it up the trail and then cut it up.

We're getting ready to put the backhoe on so we can make the driveway wider up towards the house.
