My neighbor fixed that bucket stronger than they will ever build one. But it cost me some money. What are ya gonna do? I had to get back to work on things after waiting two weeks. Now it’s over three.
Can't like your previous post!!!! I would of said , don't worry about the new bucket (well maybe would be good to keep for back up based on that one) but I would of given them the bill from the neighbor! Even if he did id free I would have him write out a bill, hate to waste a favor on that job.
We have had two wind storms here since “spring”. Quite a few White Pine brought down. I’ll have a couple thousand board feet of logs by the time I’m done processing them. Then I’ll see if any of the Amish Mills close by will want to buy them, or I’ll have them saw them up for me and bring them home to dry out so I can build somethin with em.
The new backhoe bucket, under warranty, finally got here after I complained to Mahindra, again. They finally made it happen/get here. 8 weeks it has been. I picked it up at the store I bought everything from. All wrapped in plastic so it wouldn’t move on the pallet. Got it home. It was the wrong bucket. I returned it to the store closest to my home. Walked out in disbelief.
Mahindra makes a nice tractor but the support just isn’t there. Took my local dealer over 2 weeks to get an oil filter. No oil in stock when I ordered the filter but they said they would have it when the filter came in. Picked up the filter and still no oil. Still waiting a year later for touch up paint. Have asked 3 times. These are pretty basic things my dealer simply can’t peovide. Nowhere near the situations you have been in but still a head scratcher. I am more than happy with the performance of our tractor but not looking forward to needing the dealer or company for help. Hope you get the right bucket eventually
I think the manager at the closest store ordered it. He probably ordered a 2’ bucket for a Mahindra 3550 Tractor. Now they sell the 3550 with the 65B backhoe. They use to sell it with the 75B backhoe, and that is what I bought with mine. Ugh. I told the nice customer representative at Mahindra corporate that I paid to have this bucket fixed and it would be a lot easier to supplement the quick attach plate they have sitting at the local store for my tractor because Mahindra denied warranty on it. I got no response from that suggestion. They are about the same price. And it’s sitting right there. No more shipping. Less B.S. to put up with. Oh well.
The customer care representative e-mailed me back and said go to that dealership and pick up the Q/A plate. That she had the switching of the Q/A plate and the bucket approved! Yes! On a day off so I picked it up and swapped them out already. Great job! That is what customer care is about. Thank you Brenda! You have been excellent through all of the issues I have had with my tractor.
Doubt it. I have just been complaining to her in order to try to get things done that have not been happening fast enough at the dealer. The impression I get sometimes is the owner of dealership is tired of dealing with me. Hard to say. She may be monitoring TractorByNet though.
