Assuming the tech did not have permission to do an extended test drive? I know I have had more than once where a customers vehicle had to be driven home or wherever to duplicate a stubborn intermittent problem...always had permission though...
No permission given for overnight test by the tech. Manager and service writer were the only ones who was given permission. Tech had at least one DUI and I think a suspended license. ETA: this also made Yahoo and Google news feeds.
Wow. I had not looked into this thread for a while. I was amazed before and even more so now. How any company would all this all to happen is beyond me. Of course it is big dollars to replace but what good is a machine that does not work? Take the thing back and keep running it over and over and over and fixing it over and over and over and learn from it but don't expect a customer to put up with this type of garbage.
Chucke2009 is also on tractorbynet. He goes over his issues and problems and how he got screwed too. When I saw you bought one I bit my tongue thinking maybe it was a lemon with poor customer service. You won't get anywhere on your own with a lawyer. The only way would be class action. Good luck and I feel your pain.
If it were me I'd join every tractor, agriculture, etc site and post my story...fill up the entire first page of Google. I'd bomb their Twitter page and all of their social media outlets. I'd put in several calls a day to HQ asking for anyone and everyone. Fill up VM boxes. Hand out business cards at the dealership with a link to this thread. Let them know you've found a new purpose in life...and that's to make sure everyone hears your story regarding their product and customer service.
Read this, specifically section 697d4. Get a lawyer. https://www.ne-equip.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/ny_lemon_law.pdf&ved=0ahUKEwjjy8OF9OTXAhXHA8AKHQ1JB1QQFggmMAA&usg=AOvVaw0B4UcNURDsWAOixU3cajMk
Looks like N.Y. state has a fairly explicit lemon law for ag equipment that Gas meets all criteria for.
I'd like to see someone go after their false claims. They claim to be the #1 selling tractor world wide. They also claim to have the highest customer satisfaction. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I had no idea about AG lemon law, of course they have their own law! It's not covered under the DMV but I know from experience the AG office is responsive if you are organized and at least semi literate. I would file with the AG office or start with a call. If it's like a car dealer, they will usually come around or be responsive once contacted by the AG.
Yeah, no kidding. I have a feeling that as soon as they know they don't have the law on their side, that they will make it right.
Agree! I believe kioti uses the same motor? Daewood or something? Wonder if they are seeing similar issues?
I'm betting it ain't the motor. My money's on the electronics from the sounds of it. Bad input to the PCM from somewhere.
Which in turn will hopefully be coming from them. Good luck buddy, everything will be even better in the end.
