Yes, that is the price I jumped in for. Still that same price today. They told me only the stores with the huge inventory are doing the $1.99 a bag. The closest store to us offering that deal is Brunswick. I cked. their site and the offer is good until 3/21

That is an amazing statement. That is what I wanted to hear from some of the more experienced people.

I have been calling several Lowe's in Southeast NH. The one brand of wood pellets that every store has
is Maine's Choice, (Geneva Wood Products). From what I can tell, at $99.50/ton, each store is selling 100 tons per
day. I have to wonder if Maine's Choice are coming from more than from just the Lowe's inventory,
but are being dumped onto the market by GWP out of Strong, ME. Strong, ME is the second closest supplier of any
of the pellets brands that Lowe's ever sells, in NH. For whatever reason, Green Supreme, New England Wood Pellets in Jaffrey, NH
is not moving pellets at a low price.

No Maine's Choice on Lowell, MA. Timber Heat, Hardwood pellet, Chit River or Green Supreme were my choices. 36 Ton showing in inventory. I'm surprised they are not seeing :makeitrain":vulture::vulture::vulture:

Oink! Didn't get the full load pic as we started unloading before I remembered(too exited!).... Had 35 in the truck and 15 in the caa! I totally missed the caa pic!! She was squatin, Had me a low rider!! Bag on the lower right had a football in the corner. It was returned and replace on load 2.....

    IMG_0034.JPG

2nd load was 35 again in the truck.

    IMG_0035.JPG

Stuffed em all in and did some chit tossin(lawn furniture hit the deck early!) and it looks like we got room for 25 more(just got to be sure the furniture fits back in next fall or she'll skin me alive!!). ;) We'll head back tomorrow as we were the only soles looking for pellets. No one even knew the price was $1.99 or $99.50 a ton that we talked to. They still had $3.98 on the skids by the door. But there was a small sign that said 2 for 1....... The guy on the fork lift said he's gonna call his bud after he found out what we paid!!

My neighbor saw us with load 2 in the back and stopped us. His eye's bugged out when we told him what we paid!! He'll call them to for a delivery.... He wanted GS's and they only had 3 tons of those left. Had a sea of NA's(500+ tons) and chit loads of GT's at 6.98 a bag. Did see a guy that asked them if the GT's were 2 for 1. Nope!!

I honestly expected lines at the gate were they load you up. We were the only ones??? Only other guy that got pellets put 5 on a cart. I will bet ya they will extend the sale as they still aint moving em in my area. Had a chat with the manager before we left with load 2 and he said we were the only ton buyers all week. He too burns pellets and wood. But filled his dino tank to save his back. He might get a couple tons to sit on. He doesn't think after this season Lowe's will load up like they did last and not have them move. He too called this a system flush. They know the ones in the weather might not make it till fall. No room to keep them under cover and the other lawn stuff is already moving so they moved the pellets to the back lot. He predicts a shortage next year if oil climbs and peeps look at pellets again!!

I got next season and a bit of a buffer JIC. After tomorrows 25, I'll have 6 plus tons and won't burn but maybe 20 or so for the rest of this season!! I'm a happy pig now!! First time ever the bunker has ever hit 6 tons+(way too hard to count the stacks are so high)!! But at these prices the wifey couldn't resist. I was happy with getting the first ton, But doing a jig with what we stuffed in.

Hey. No problem. So glad so many of us could make this score!! My bride is in Florida on a trip and even she is happy about the next couple of years being warm. In 19 years, I've never stocked up like this....
We're all riding the wave now but as stated in other threads here, the next year or two could be a turning point....again.

will711 I did the same as you and brought home 20 bags in the Accord! I'm super excited about this purchase because I've never seen PTL hardwoods around here before. I hope they aren't too ashy?

    LOL

Now that is nice - wish they still had Pres-to's around here. But as near as I can tell, NH only got those first thing last fall. Glad I got a couple tons of them when they were available - the P43 loves them.

I ordered 4 tons for next Wednesday. subsailor, are you paying attention to this!!!!!!:vulture::vulture::vulture::vulture::vulture::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: I have to pay $75 for delivery. That is 10 more than their normal charge.
