    Watching my 4 local Lowe's waiting for the drop in price, hopefully they drop for the weekend and I will be going shopping.

    keep an eye on the internet. I pulled the trigger and got the call less than 15 min later asking which brand I would like out of the choices they had and then scheduled delivery. If picking up, you should still be able to lock in once / if the price drops. Good luck!

    We are certainly in uncharted territory....I've been burning pellets for 19 years...never got them cheaper than $140.

    You're tellin me! Just got off the phone with my "local" lowes and the manager said that his cost on pellets is $4.71 and that's the lowest he'll go. I stated that other stores were movin TONS of product at $1.99 and he had no explanation. :headbang:

    Since the price drop i have scooped up 7.6 tons and paid on average $146 a ton. Begining of the year think i paid $280 per ton. Last year $299 a ton. I am enjoying this glut for now. A little afraid of the future.

    Same here, concerned the late season sale prices we've been enjoying this season will probably lead to even worse (possibly record breaking?) sales next season, especially if HHO stays low. Although at this point I'm not sure HHO price will be as much of a factor, considering so many folks are already loaded up, in many cases for multiple seasons.

    So I was going to wait and see if I could get some more premium stuff at lower prices, but this is really hard to ignore. I have 5 tons inside, 4 tons outside (where they will have to stay) and seriously considering 4 more tons.

    So I wonder if portable shelter prices will skyrocket because of demand created by people trying to cover their pellets :whistle:

    Yep...Better buy now, don't think the stores that are selling at a loss this year will order as much next year!! Supply and Demand at its finest! Local Lowes here are still at 3.98/bag!!

    Makes one wonder. Lowes ought to be able to move product to other stores vs. $100/ton loss.
    PIG OUT!!!! :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
    I know some brokers that would jump on that deal.
    WOW,,, I just google mapped North Windham and its just outside of Boston!! That ought make some East Coast PIGS happy. Cost average my friends !
