Low budget chainsaw mill ?

    I built one first and it worked ok but the granberg is hard to beat.

    I think they can be had for about $239 from Northern Tool. At that price, it would be hard to beat. :)

    All you need is a say 70cc chainsaw or more and a Logosol timber jig and away yo go makes dreams come true

    Anyone used the granberg mini mill? I see them on northern tools site for $84. Seems like a good price

    Very cool Butcher.
    Could you use nuts on both sides of the angle iron to adjust the cut depth?
    That would lock the adjustment, and maybe you could eliminate the tubes.
    Or, did I miss something? (entirely possible)

    I s'pose I could but using the pipe nipples eliminates the need to measure and get both ends the same thickness.
