Looking to get a smallish siren shipped from Corfu New York

Wife lived in Warsaw not far from there we visit from time to time. 11 hour drive one way.


I wonder if you could get an Uber driver to pick it up and bring it to the ups spot.

In a town of 700 people there might not be many Ubers tho.

Thanks for the offer Chaz! I don't want you driving 3 hrs round trip, although running the siren some could reduce the return time.
Fingers crossed but I got a reply that if I did a buy it now at a reasonably higher amount they would get someone to take it to the UPS store if I handled UPS on my end. I have a UPS account so I can do that.
Some comments said refer to her husband being ill.
Also selling a Sievercropp 2 cylinder single spark plug engine. Sadly it looks like a toy sale do to health.

 

More likely there could be 700 "Goobers" though.

Well.... it's bought and paid for! She is going to have her son take it to UPS for shipping.
Now I'm at the mercy of UPS

Well it's at UPS now and that was sure a debacle. Called yesterday and they said it won't be a problem have them drop it off.
Today the lady who is 89 drops it off with her son and now they won't let her leave until it's it's paid for so she called me. No problem I figured and I proceeded to give the UPS store my card number all is good until they ask for the billing address and that's a PO box.
They don't accept PO box numbers for a billing address.
All our stuff goes to a PO box.
Ended up calling our son and getting his card number to complete the transaction.
I've never heard of such BS.

 

You think that's bad, you should see how they screw Canadians with their highway robbery brokerage fees for items shipped from the states. No wonder their drivers are making a hundred grand for screwing up deliveries.
