Made it easier to get the Lint Eater brush up there too.

    P43 pipe set up.jpg

    P43 clean out.jpg

I did that configuration to match where the old Hastings true corner install was since I wanted the P43 aimed so the air stream goes down the hallway. Even if I had done a corner install, the pipes wouldn't have matched up so I would have had to do some weird configuration.

makes sense! some of the more difficult installs are the ones where you have to exit through the same hole as an older, "other" model stove!

That is probably exactly what I will have to do. I measured and the Accentra's exhaust is 6 inches over from where the Baby's is. One 45 will do the trick. The other thing is the exhaust on the Accentra is 6 inches from the floor so I wouldn't be able to get the cap off anyways never mind get a brush in there!

Well, vacuumed her out and added a few Vermonts. Turned it on and 5 minutes later....fire! Cleaned it up a bit and now I don't think I need any apint. I am thrilled! (The gas can in the picture has oil in it)

That is a beautiful sight - both the fire and the chassis. You are right, it doesn't need paint I only see one scratch that can be touched up later.

T cap on my P68 is about that height. Its not easy, but the lint eater rods bend enough to get it up there. That angle will help for sure as Pete pointed out

Ok,I just came from Home and Hearth. Talked to one of the techs and he said the Harman adapter won't work with Simpson DuraVent. He said that I should be able to get a 3 1/2 adapter from DuraVent on Amazon. Is he right?
Oh, they have the paint in stock.
And...they knew the old owner. He bought the stove from them in 2009. They serviced it every year up until 2014. The seller told me his last bill from Home and Hearth was over $700 so he thought they replaced a blower. Turns out they replaced both blowers! It ran that season that it was pulled and sat in the warehouse for over 4 years. I'm a happy guy!

. I believe that is the one you need. Unless those older stoves are different than the 2012+ P series.

So you have brand new blowers (relatively) - that is fantastic.

So you have your pick - Amazon or a parts store. At least Rich250 and I agree on the part number :D

imacman, the adapter you showed me is a 3" stove to 3" DuraVent pipe, correct? I have 4" venting. A 3 to 4 adapter from the Harman adapter to my T will push the stove too far from the wall. Am I missing something?

    Get a 3" - 4" T adapter

Or, increase after the T with this adapter

I hate the Harman tapered tailpiece for the flue.I took mine, welded a short section of 4" truck exhaust pipe on it,and used one of these. No glue,no sealer,no tape, easy to take apart.
