Congrats on the stove ChandlerR , (nice!) was glad to read the fix was easy.

re: offset - you could use (2) 45 degree elbows, and some combination of 6" / 12" duravent pipes attached (x) feet up on the 10 ft. run to correct the offset, depending on how far you need to go .. Just a thought.

I'm thinking of that CF. The only problem is 2 45's may be more than the 6 inches I need to move over. I'm heading to Home Depot tomorrow to see what they have in stock. I'll bring my tape measure and see.

IIRC the 45 elbow swivels to allow for some adjustment, but the one I have here is buried in the back of the porch room at the moment .. I'll dig it out in the a.m. to confirm, and post back.

I thought my wife would prefer a black stove but now she likes the green. It may clean up but if it doesn't, I may want to give it a coat of paint. Only one problem. I can't find the color green for Harmans anywhere. (see the pictures I took at the beginning)
I know I can find paint at Lowes or HD but I'll bet it's not gonna be the same color. Any ideas?

When I saw the first pics I really like that green too. But if you end up painting it, you'll have your choice of colors - so might want to see if the wife would like something else even better.

Why yes, I like to stir up trouble :D

I dug the "spares" box out, and the 3" 45 elbows are "double jointed" - they swivel at the base, and swivel @ the 45 elbow: which allows for adjusting offset vertically, and horizontally / angle along the run. If both sides of the pipes being connected were able to 'swivel' - it allows for some interesting angles for the install.

    * Busy day here: lot's 'o sn*w prep to do, will hookup some pipes, get measurements later this afternoon & post 'em up.

While I agree that's too much money for a 2004 unit, you could likely offset the stove with a couple 45's right on top of the tee and still have that offset concealed behind the stove, depending on the offset, of course

Stove Bright is everywhere online. As for that offset, you can also angle the tee right where it attaches and possibly use just one 45 to go back vertical....and that will be less than 6" offset......ICC Excel Harman stove adapter is also bolt on. Then a tee, then a 45...….sorry, I know Duravent is popular here, just not a fan

Thank you again CF! I'm heading out to the shop to vac out the stove and load some Vermonts in it and see if it makes fire.
