Bearings can be replaced but sometimes a pain in the azz and at least to me. not worth it. You can get a good, quiet Fasco replacement for $55 ish shipped.

Ok, I do have a needle oiler but not sure if the needle is small enough. What I may do is use a jewlers screwdriver to make a gap in the seal and dribble some oil down the shaft. I was told that the blower was replaced. Maybe it was....hmmmmm

You have nothing to loose doing it that way.Ya,I believe your old motor would have been a Jakel

Next time you are in a store with a pharmacy, ask for a few needles, they generally give me a few at a time free,I also use the small needles to glue plastics together. With a needle you could squirt some oil in it without removing it.

The Jakel motors were worth replacing bearings, not the newer motors like yours, prob. would never find brgs anyway.

Good to know however I wonder if it was really only used with the new motor for one season. That bearing shouldn't be rattling like that. (Unless it was installed with a dry bearing)

I'm pretty sure you have the original motor in there, Gleason/Avery! My stove is older than yours and it didn't have a Jakel. I posted the bearing in that motor many moons ago. Skateboard bearing 608RS

Well, that would explain the dry bearing. Thanks ivanhoe!
