    I burned a few of those too from TSC , only way I could try softwoods a few years back and they worked just fine . Just a bit pricey and you have to pay tax on them not considered fuel .

    One winter when we were using more pellets, there was a big shortage, and all I could find was bedding pellets.

    We ran that stuff for 3 months.

    Stoves ran fine.
