    I don't mind semi chisel, but I hate the safety chains, I would that and toss it in the trash.

    X2. We have a couple SC chains, really helps when you have dirty logs to cut.

    I bought four 20" chains on ebay (good deal, made offer) for the .375 recently and one was semi chisel for cutting BL. Havent tried it yet.

    Thanks but I really have to give someone else here credit.
    There was a posting with a picture here a couple weeks ago where someone had done this so that got me thinking why not try it. The end result was perfect.
    I was going to take pictures myself but forgot.
    Not sure who originally posted but thanks for the tip.
