Did they post a weight rating on those tires? I'd complain to the seller if you are under that rating.

They said they were "Wheel barrow" tires. So one would assume they could take a bit or weight. Heck, I've had 400lbs of cement in a wheel barrow with no trouble with the pneumatic tires, so I figured these would do the trick.... "NOT" :headbang: They came from some place in China and if you look on eBay there all over the place. :picard: I took them off and when/if they go back into shape, I'll figure something for them.

Looks like it still splits good just a little hard to move around!
It did look good with those Orange sneakers on it though!

Now WeldrDave will have to buy a tractor with FEL to move the splitter around.

Parking a full loader bucket there is a stroke of genius, assuming you have a loader to park. Sure wish I did. I had considered putting a slightly smaller table on the operating side of my splitter also. I was afraid that it would crowd the operator a bit. How is that working out? I wonder if you need more room if you are hand loading from the operator side instead of pulling the rounds from a bucket?

Here's my splitter. It's old but it runs great.

Long time browser, first time posting. Here is a pic of my 22 ton Oregon woodsplitter. 3 years old, 50+ cord split, with no major issues. Would recommend this splitter. IMG_20180113_121413322.jpg IMG_20180113_121422415.jpg

I broke down and pulled the lever. Now I just need to get it out of my truck.
That will be fun I thought it was going to be more in pieces which would have been easier for me to unload it. I guess they changed how much needs assembled now.

It is working out very well. I would always load the side opposite the operator. I like the fact that when I split a piece it stays on the log catcher and log table. if it needs to be quartered I take the piece from the catcher and split it then take those two pieces of wood and place on my stack repeat with other half.
As I get older I try to work smarter and handle the wood as little as possible.

You will love this machine. We just got the 30 ton fast cycle model. It is really that fast, I got just under 11sec on time with me trying to do stopwatch and pull lever. Love the way it slices thru knots. Only had a few rounds make it grunt for a second. Hope you can find a way to unload bit safely.
