how much HP is the engine? Do you know how big the pump is? How well does the engine run? You may have a vacuum leak? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Engine is 13 hp. I think its a 16 gallon 2 stage pump. It runs goid but not great. After we adjusted the valves it ran better and much quieter. Where would there be a leak? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
When an engine turns over slowly, most of the time it is the valve adjustment but since you adjusted them that is not it. The only places you have for a vacuum leak would be the carb to engine gasket or a head gasket. The head gasket is unlikely. Since it is not turning over well and the exhaust is red, check for a sheared flywheel key. Your timing may be over advanced. I ask what size engine and pump because I thought the engine may be too small. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
We checked the fly wheel key it is not advanced. Those gaskets were replaced when i did the carb all three from the air filter to the carb the between the carb and the pipe to the block and the one where the block meets the pipe. All replaced. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
No cracks or signs of leaks in the intake manifold? Any signs of exhaust gases blowing out the head gasket or head bolts? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Well not on the intake but the head gasket a d or head bolts not sure where they are Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
So i hooked the jump box tonthe starter and grounded it out turned over hard. Wouldn't start. I lossened the bolts that hold the housing on that cover the flywheel. Hit the starter with the jump box. Sucker turned over like normal and started up. Split wood till dinner time. She did glow but not at bright. Smelled like oil. Bit she split wood. So pumped. I have a bunch od wood to split between know and december 8th. Gotta finish it all up before i go under the knife. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
