shipping is a killer no matter where you are. $ 10 is about the minimum for anything i get for the shop that I can't find local or resale items. So another $6 getting up to Fairbanks ain't bad, sides there got to be a few lbs there- they ain't feathers. Bet if it was Bailey's it would be double or more shipping least wise that has been my experience with them- I look else where now.
Need someone to buy 50 of them then ship them out regular mail. Still deciding how much I'd use them, (cost/benefit analysis going on in my head ) LOL
bogydave I have used my log dog several times. Usually for pulling a log out of the woods and onto the trail/path. Then I don't have to move all those rounds that far. The benefit is there. Benefit of getting it closer and not having to try to get under it with a chain. Mine was a gift from someone named AlanClaus. I had never heard of him though. He must have a wicked sweet tooth. I think he beat Santa here because there was nothing left for sweets for him. But I think Woodwidow may know who he is.
Alaska and Hawaii are always more universally. usually stated as such somewhere in the shipping statements. or sometimes Free shipping except H & A
