Haha, same here. Good luck. I was there on Saturday and they had just received a large delivery of TSC bagged MWPs. I poked around the stash and saw pallets of Hardwood Heats, TSC bagged Ligs, and TSC bagged MWPs. All told, probably 50 tons and the place really doesn't seem to get very much interest, so I expect there will still be plenty there when you go.

Indeed. Better hang onto your seat, here's a snip from this week's episode of Pellet Hunters:

On my way home on Monday evening and my pellet hound super senses pick up a bogey on the radar. More like a unicorn, really. So I pull in and mosey around the back of the store  Lots of pallets with "Oregon" written on the labels. Turns out a couple truckloads were delivered earlier that day. Placed my order, and here we are two days later and they are sitting in my driveway. Pretty happy about it because I never thought I would get the opportunity to try them. I know some appeared in New England at the end of the 2013 / 2014 heating season, but I just figured that was a one time only situation for a few lucky folks. Turns out they are back this season too!

Next challenge: Finding space in the bunker to store them.

Can't see much in that picture. I won't be ready to crack this one open for a while, so here is a picture taken through the weather shroud.

Sorry! This was at HD in Auburn. Now that I realize I posted this in the TSC thread, I feel silly.

I know, this is like the icing on the cake. Recommend folks keep an eye out at their local HDs, surely this can't be the only rare bird sighting that will happen this season?

Not a biggie, We'll jack this thread to beer sooner of later anyway.

I would think any box store and UPC could be covered here. But If not, We could start a box store in general thread of what we are finding for pellets and the UPC stuff if need be and I could tidy up this thread? It up to the gang and I'll do what I can!

I don't see any pellets in his sig, as far as I'm concerned you are all piglets in training.

I'm off looking for stashes :vulture:.

    OK OK,

I was told I have to tell the truth. Ya see, Well Ahhh, I kinda sorta flunked the flying test so I didn't get my buzzard solo license. I guess almost crashing on take off isn't excepted! But I stuck the landing if ya don't mind all the scratches from the trees and bushes. I get a retest once the instructor is released from the hospital. o_O

Bear, Can I fly shotgun with ya?

To hell with the instructor what about that poor vulture?

Before you can fly shotgun you have to prove to me that you know how to safely operate the blunderbuss I don't want to spend any time having shot pulled out of my hide.

Another price increase at TSC, and right on schedule. Seems like they are doing it every Monday morning. $5.49/bag now. If they do one more increase, they will officially exceed what Lowes is charging. HD also increased their price to $249/ton over the weekend, but they still remain the lowest price of the three stores. For now.
