With a little time this week, I made a few changes to the dump trailer.

I replaced the beat up tool box I got from the dump with a proper box from Tractor Supply. The trailer always scared the corner of the truck during sharp turns and my daughter managed to let them get together when she used it to move. Even after I told her to be careful about it. damm kids.
Mounted a 4DLT big battery inside. Threw in the straps, blocks, and stuff that goes with the trailer.

Mounted the winch once more and used a quick connector on a good pair of jumper cables to feed it when it’ll be used. They also fit in the box.

Mounted the aluminum ramps to the sides so they’ll be with me at all times. My wife is suspicious that I’m planning another “tractor rescue” though since I did that.

With the arch that moves in the stake holes from front to rear, it should be fairly equipped for scrounge runs.
    We will see.

But that forestry trailer really really is pretty!

That’s neat. I use a normal relay but that is a lot more fancy doing everything you need to protect, jump, or charge the primary and secondary batteries in a system automatically as needed.
