Coincident to my pastrami making, a local grocery chain put packers on sale for $2.99/lb. Or about $2.15 in USD. So I bought a 12 pounder and a 17. The smaller one I will put on the smoker for Father's Day. The bigger one I will turn the point into more pastrami. The flat I think will be used mainly for ground beef. Brisket burgers can't be half bad right?
