There was one more smaller trunk of the Red Oak that was down so I figured I better get it while I had the time. I put the racks on the truck because I wasn't sure how much I would have. Three rows and three rounds in the back of Oak and the truck is about leveled out like a full truck load. That was heavy and I couldn't back the truck up close.
I keep meaning to take a picture of my wood on a loaded truck, but my truck driver always shows up at 3 AM in the morning. That either means he is an early riser or is trying to get to the paper mill before the Creeper Cops start their day!
Hey I got one. Not the best picture, but a photo nonetheless... 10 cords of hardwood (roughly) headed to the paper mill. Not bad, second load of the week.
Off topic Wood, I will be in Massachusetts on a business trip over at the Pilgrim nuke plant in a couple weeks. Any good seafood restaurant suggestions? I'll be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. Thanks
Not super familiar with the Plymouth area but I asked a friend and 2 were recommended. 42° north open til 10pm Woods Seafood open till 8pm
Thanks, I was looking online and there seem to be some pretty nice joints with prices to match. Honestly, I'd rather support a mom and pop's place that has great food. Google doesn't always help in that regard.
Got a call from the same person that gave me the last load. Said he won't post on Craigslist or let anyone else have a chance at it. Ended up felling a leaner for him to finish the load. great guy and only about 10 miles one-way.
Nice load of wood. I put a ratchet strap across the wood rack on my truck once. It acted like a slingshot and threw most of the wood back at me.
