    Yes... Traditional off the back.
But I always wondered about those side dumpers...
Would the rounds or logs you dump, not roll back under your wheels???
    Tumble???

Hmmmm. Interesting. I suppose dirt, rocks, and the like would not roll back under your wheels. But I will tell you what. When you get it built, I will let you try dumping a nice big load of splits at my house. I will even put some plywood next to the truck, shorter than lowest point of dump bed and taller than wheels, to prevent them from going under your truck. And you should be able to drop it right where I want it with the side dump. Then drive away after we have a celebration beer!

    Where are my sunglasses!

    Looking good Hedge!

What are you going to use for the sides? Will the prefab stake pockets bent for 2x4s work or are you going to have to make some smaller ones? On the bed I built for my 1 ton I had to bend some to use with 1x3" rectangular tubing.

Already got the pre-made stake pockets welded on.. 16 of em' to be exact.. Just don't have a pic of it yet.. Started on the headache rack already too..
The sides will be tongue and groove boards, but removable... For Grain, gravel, and wood.

MasterMech, I like the steel tailgate hinges. Those cables get water in them and rust out at the wrong time. Nice looking workhorse.

I like the old Jeep Pick-ups. Here is one of my former trucks. J-20 - 3/4 ton.

I was hoping years ago that they would come out with a new Jeep pick up. Something like this. Not going to happen though. I think they look so much better than a Ram. Just me I guess. But also a completely different truck.

You can buy one of these AEV Brute's. It will cost you though! WTF?
