The second load on my new truck at the end of last summer, first load on the ground mostly black walnut with some ash pieces
yes nostalgia The hours I spent cultivating 1/3-1/2mi rows pedaling a clutch on a poor running one with no starter, and it really sucked when it died in the middle of row with the cultivators down
I still hope I can get my grandads back from a second cousin one day. I dont think it was a club. Maybe an A? I dont know really. When I was young n dumb I told them to give it away. I said I dont want that old thing. Now the last decade I wish I had it!
Spent a fair amount of time perched on a John Deere B myself. Mounted 2 row cultivator. (Mind you this was in the early 2000s....) It wasn't fast but it never gave me any trouble. Talk about long, and boring, days tho.
I imagine if they made tractors like those they woundnt be in business any longer as they last forever and are simple to work on.
think about running one that's about to die/stall every 50ft - and no way to restart it Boss finally bought 70's IH Cub that we could swap all the axel extensions off it was much more "fun"
go swap out that woods belly mower and man handle a set of cultivators under it and then put the mower back on - you'd want a new tractor
That was the lawn mower until last month got a new zero turn and it's also one of 9 tractors here.... Old iron hoarder
Yeah the mower is not the nicest thing to take on and off but it's off for good she's the new splitter mover when the Cubs busy
Lost this Hemlock in a storm a few summers ago, I think it was "Irene". Put it on the truck to take it down to the burn pile.
