Half cord load went yesterday to one of my outdoor burners. Face cord of cherry with red maple and the balance a mix of SS wood. They had a nice new patio and fireplace done last year and they will use it in the cold. DSCF0478.JPG DSCF0479.JPG

Finally put some good loads on Ol'Skool. A friend in need came over Monday and helped me clean up some older maple logs, should have been cut 6-8 months ago, but got buried...:emb::emb:.
He said it would all burn...lol...some was still in good shape, hybrid SM... 20251222_093838.jpg
    1st load... 20251222_104745.jpg
We had some left, so we made a 2nd load, added some holly, dogwood and oak chunks to top it off. 20251222_150214.jpg
He was kicked off the place where he lived after his step-dad passed, he lives in a small "cabin"...storage building with small wood stove. He recently had to move it to a different spot too. He said the rents cheap here and it's mostly quiet. Hope we made his Christmas a little brighter...

Jeff the Santa Claus, always thinking of others. I don't see anything in there I wouldn't burn as well, heck, that's my normal stuff. Merry Christmas.

I cut a big load of red oak Monday but forgot to take a picture of it. Merry Christmas to all my fellow hoarders out there!

That's a great looking load of wood. And the truck looks great too. Dark blue is my favorite color.

A lift gate would certainly be nice but that would be in the way for towing my 5th wheel.
