Loaded truck pics.

That model of F350 has always impressed me. There is something classic about it.

 

tonights load. also filled a long bed ranger and an old short bed 150.

 

Now this is a thread I can contribute to! I think I take a picture of every load of wood. I guess I feel accomplished or something. Haha

 

I know this thread is about loaded trucks, how about unloading trucks?

 

And of course, a different type of lock and loaded truck (these are on Toyota Tacomas BTW)

 

Does this count guys? I need to learn to take more pictures!

Two loads in the process of being off-loaded...

The first is the mid-section of a red oak. Did not have to quarter the rounds to load them. The second is the lower part of the trunk. The rounds were heavy enough that I quartered them before loading. All clean, solid red oak.

Trailer 3000 lb axle , overloaded, It's attached to my truck

 

My work truck doubles as a weekend wood hauler. It has a pretty stiff suspension on it and normally carries loads of cement, sand, gravel, stone, etc.... A load of wood just smooths out the ride.

 

For all you Ford fans.....I'm pleased to present this:

WP.. are you running a load leveling hitch with that? Is that the 10k trailer from Big Tex or the 7k trailer? I've got the 10PI which is 7'x18'. Doesn't look like the back of the truck is sitting down too much.. must be a well balanced load. I got the EAZ-Lift 14k weight distributing hitch


as well as a tongue scale



Which seems to make it easy to avoid overloading the truck and maintaining stability.

 

Here is a load that's on my truck at this very moment. It was a scrounge that my wife lined up for us.

 

There are no load bars on there, I do use them for my 38' 10k# camper though..
The trailer is a 7k 16 x 7 Big tex with Red Oak and a smidge of Maple on it. The 2500 refuses to sqat for much

 

The girl is my wife, the guy is my son, and no I don't think he's peeing relieving himself. Not sure what he was doing at that particular moment, but in the picture in the set immediately before that one he was playing with the aspen trees.

Shouldn't you be outside unloading that and getting it spit up?

Ohh, she got rewarded! I need to get after it, just wasn't really what I wanted to do on my day off. It's probably gonna end up being a bon fire next week end. I don't want to use up my good stuff!
